Hate Grout? Rectified Tile is the Answer | ASK KEN

ASK KEN: Rectified Tile— The Stone Floor Look Without All The Grout

ASK KEN - EP. 12:

Looking for a stone floor look without wide grout lines? Rectified tile might be what you're looking for.

Ken's Quick Answer:

"If you're looking for tile, but don't want to see or have to clean wide grout lines, then rectified tile might be the solution you're looking for."

Ken's In-Depth Answer:

"We’re excited to introduce a new porcelain tile style to our showroom. It’s called “Crash” from Happy Floors, but to tell you the truth, I’m not really focused on the tile. I'm focused on the grout.

Why? Because this is a rectified tile. What does that mean? It means when the tile was manufactured, it was done very precisely so that all the sides are at 90 degree angles.

What does that do? Well, they fit together very tightly so you can get away with very narrow grout joints and really get that stone floor look.

Rectified tiles are a great solution or people who don't like a lot of grout and don't want to clean grout.
