Island Carpet has provided custom stair runners to the design community and their clients for many years. We've done work with woven goods (Wilton carpet) and natural fibers (sisals, seagrass, and jute.) We've done staircases in narrow bindings and wide bindings in all types of colors.

Most importantly, we know how to hide the staples so that your customer gets an elegant and bespoke look on their stairs and in their hallway. Being in Newport, we do a lot of yachts. Many times, the yachts we work on are over 100 feet long. Our team has years of experience working on cabins, salons, stairs, illuminated stairs, and more. We use all different types of materials from beautiful white wool carpets to indoor/outdoor carpets and even cushioned waterproof vinyl. We can then install that material wall to wall or we can use glue, velcro or snaps. Basically, when it comes to boat flooring, we've done almost everything.
