Island Carpet has installed luxury vinyl floors and carpet in several local restaurants. One fun custom stair job that we recently completed was at the White Horse Tavern in Newport, Rhode Island. Commercial Flooring for Schools

Island Carpet has a longstanding 20-year history of installing flooring for the Gordon School in East Providence. About 3 years ago, we installed more than 15,000 square feet of flooring in a span of five weeks! These large-scale flooring projects are common for our installation teams.

Many years ago, we had installed carpet tile for the Gordon School. However, this time around, we went with a mixture of vinyl composition tiles (VCT) as well as colorful Forbo linoleum. This combination has allowed the school to do more deep cleaning.

Linoleum, in particular, was once used on battleships - so you know it’s sturdy! We love how the final job turned out and thank the Gordon School for choosing us for their flooring solutions.

Commercial Flooring for Offices and Other Spaces

In the past few years, we’ve installed flooring in dentist’s and doctor’s offices, large corporate offices, local retailer spaces, movie theaters, gyms and so much more.
